The American Democracy Project at SUNY Fredonia is partnering with the League of Women Voters of Chautauqua County to make voter registration methods more accessible to students.

The two organizations have joined forces to hold campus-wide Voter Registration Drives. Each event gives students the opportunity to grab and complete a voter registration form. Representatives will assist students in filling out the form and turning them in to election offices. Organizers note that the process is quick and easy with multiple dates and locations to accommodate as many students as possible.

Dates and locations are as follows:

Organizers note, “Your vote is your voice. Don't stay silent. If you haven't registered to vote, we hope you take advantage of this great opportunity.”

Sarah Losso, a Ph.D. candidate at Harvard University, will present a lecture, "Morphology, Function and Taphonomy of Lower Paleozoic Trilobites and their Close Relatives: Insights from North American Lagerstätten," on Friday, Sept. 16.

Hard to imagine anyone in Hollywood coming up with a better script than the one that played out for a group of Video Production students in their final semester at SUNY Fredonia.

“Voting Rights: Identifying the Deep Roots of #BLM,” a lecture by Department of History Associate Professor Jennifer Hildebrand, will be presented as part of the Constitution Day observance at SUNY Fredonia on Wednesday, Sept. 14.
